By Abby D. I'm left-handed, and while I usually thing this is awesome - it's unique! - there are times when I hated it. Usually those times had to do with being forced to use a certain kind of writing utensil, like an erasable pen, in school. I found that my handwriting ALWAYS smudged, got all over my hand, and made my notes look super sloppy. But there are ways to beat the system! images

By Alison D. Summer can be the most fun part of the year. You don’t want homework to cast a shadow after all of you time off. By developing a schedule to get your work done you can finish your summer reading and other homework as quickly as you want and not have to worry about it. I know the summers when I do this end up being much more enjoyable. You don’t want to be the one who leaves everything until the last minute and has to read an entire book the night before classes start and has to go to the first day of school looking tired with puffy eyes. images
